Getting Started- Using the correct version.

The program that I like to use with my class is Windows Movie Maker.  It is already installed with PC's running Windows XP and is very easy to use.  iMovie from Apple is also a user friendly, simple editing software but I'm not as familiar with it.  The original Windows MovieMaker should not be confused with Windows Live Moviemaker which is found on the latest versions of Windows (Windows Vista and Windows 7).  This is not the same and actually too basic to make a good movie.
To get the free download to Windows Movie Maker on a computer running Vista or Windows 7 you can find it here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=34
